Like you, we exist to serve.

Olympia Learning is dedicated to unleashing the highest human potential by offering engaging, practical workshops on team connection and resilience, for teams and leaders. We focus on serving nonprofits - good people doing good work - and offer our work free-of-charge.

Now more than ever, the world can feel chaotic, the pace of change unmanageable, and call to serve overwhelming. How can we fuel our teams and leaders to thrive, no matter what?

The good news is that connection, resilience, and thriving are all possible, with the right tools and support. Each Olympia workshop offers a warm and fun environment, simple tools, clear outcomes, and resources for further impact and study. Our work is available online or in-person, and led by master facilitators with extensive experience.

Our belief is that everyone has sparks of brilliance within – immense inner resources we are all meant to use and share with the world. Formal schooling tends to focus on external resources, leaving key inner riches untaught and untapped.

Olympia aims to bridge that gap, specifically for organizations focused on social benefit that may not have dedicated funds for staff development or team-building.

MEET YOUR FACILITATOR

Arden Pennell Moses
Founder, Master Facilitator

Hi! I’m Arden Pennell Moses, a facilitator and coach trained in resilience, mindfulness, leadership development, and high-performing teams.

My career has focused on helping organizations foster sustainable high performance, particularly through tapping into inner resources: self-awareness, mindset shift, and energy management.

Most recently, I’ve led Learning and Development at a biotech company, with a front row seat to the daily challenges hard-working teams and leaders face. Previously, as a learning consultant and facilitator, I worked with companies including Google, Meta (Facebook), Kaiser Permanente, Genentech, BMS, Fidelity, PWC, Nestle, Coca Cola, BlackRock, and others. In addition to workshops, I help people leaders design for impact, integrating the work into culture and ensuring that energy they invest continues to benefit the group over time.

As you can see from the list above, the world’s richest companies are keen to invest in this work, but many nonprofits or social-benefit organizations — particularly early in their organizational life-cycle — don’t have funds for such initiatives. I started Olympia Learning with the aspiration to offer these experiences to good people doing good work free-of-charge.

Nonprofit organizations that are well-capitalized, such as endowed philanthropies or foundations, are welcome to inquire about low-cost pricing, which funds operating expenses.

What’s the Experience?
Working Together

More than 99% of attendees of workshops I’ve facilitated have reported the learning was relevant and useful, and would recommend the workshop to others. They most commonly describe my style as authentic, relatable, and entertaining, making it fun and safe to share and learn.

(If the timing you request is unavailable for me, I may suggest a fellow vetted master facilitator, and share their bio at that time.)

The process begins with a call (or online meeting) to understand your desired objectives. Perhaps you have a simple need —for ex., fostering connection for your remote team — and want to start with a 60-minute Team Connection workshop on Zoom. Or perhaps you are planning a high-touch in-person retreat and want a partner to design for powerful and lasting impact. After we align on a plan, we set a date, and move forward.

On a personal note

I live in Oakland, California, with my husband James and rascally dog Theo. Our family time is precious, including walks around Lake Temescal. I grew up in New York City, have roots in the Midwest, and speak Spanish and German fluently.

I also enjoy meditation and learning about history. The name “Olympia Learning” was inspired by a trip to Olympia, Greece. This ancient city was not only an athletic arena but also a site for reverence: the exercise of human excellence was considered an offering to the gods. Today, we can still tap the power of potential. I look forward to meeting and working with you!
